On the basis of existing small-batch production line, RMB 50 million will be invested to enlarge production site and purchase more production and testing equipment and necessary auxiliary facilities. A laser-welding production line, a vacuum silicone oil filling line, an aging testing line and a transmitter assembly line will be built. After completion of the project, the annual production will reach a scale of 100000 high temperature resistant semiconductor pressure sensors and 50000 transmitters.

At present, the measuring precision of sensor products in the world, especially intellectualized semiconductor sensors, is influenced in a certain extent by environment, especially in acidic, alkaline, corrosive or oil polluted environment, because of aging and degradation of material and the service life of the products is lowered. In order to stabilize product quality and safety, users have to pay much attention to inspection and replacement of sensors when they inspect and repair equipment. Due to these factors, the service life of pressure sensors is generally 2 years. This product is a frequently replacing device, so the market will be stable and last long.
A document published in journal Sensor World shows that the sales amount in world sensor market increased from USD 1.5 billion in 1990 to USD 2.34 billion in 1999, with an average annual growth rate of 7%. Silicon pressure sensor took a proportion of 25% of the total. Silicon pressure sensor had a greater growth rate due to its characteristics of small volume and intellectualization.
After several years' research and industrial development by Luoyang Liantian Sensor Co., Ltd, the product has won some users, with a total annual ordering mount of 30000 sensors. It is possible due to the investment to further enlarge production, R & D ability and market.

The total investment for the project will amount to RMB 50 million, including RMB 42 million for fixed assets and RMB 8 million for basic current capital.

Foreign partner will invest 18 million US dollars as 47% of the total investment of the project. This 18 million US dollar investment will be used for addition of relevant equipment. The workshop, equipment and intangible assets of Luoyang Monocrystalline Silicon Company are as 53% of the total investment of the project.

After completion of the project, the additional annual sales income will amount to RMB 90 million, with annual taxes of RMB 22.5 million and an annual profit of RMB 27.896 million. The rate of return will be 66.42% and the pay-off period will be 1.5 years. The cost will be recovered 4 years after completion of the project.
